I have over 20 years of nursing experience, 13 of those years were in labor and delivery, postpartum, and nursery. I have always had a passion for birth work.
About Me
I have been married for 19 years, and have two amazing boys. I love spending time with them and finding places for us to visit. I started out my career in a small labor and delivery unit and learned so much from that small hospital. I then moved to a bigger hospital, St. Thomas Rutherford, and worked there for 13 years. I have been fortunate enough to be part of hundreds of births. I have taught group childbirth classes for them as well. I have worked in the recovery room of MMC surgery center for the last 8 years, and I can't wait to get back to my passion, serving moms.
I recently got certified as a birth doula through A Woman Who Serves Training.
